The Chaos Gate brings the player directly into the center of a field of flowers, the scent of the violets overwhelming, yet at the same time soothing. The whole field comprises of grassy patches and large quantities of flowers as far as the eye can see, and in between the fields of flowers is an old beaten ground path, that can be taken until reaching the dungeon nestled into the side of a mountain. On your journey to the dungeon however, expect numerous monsters to cross your path - though they will be fairly weak due to the nature of the field. The dungeon is three floors down, and is fairly easy for newbies to triumph over; though still best to do with more than one person.

k2 was a novice to this game. He had yet to experience any true battles, but he had read on the battle system as if it was going to be a quiz in the game rather than an actual event. He was a simple character in design, but he still boasted the heavyblade attributes. He wondered that if he was too slow of a character to move through the game without aid, but he knew that acquiring items could make his questing go easier. So he had purchased a large supply of additional health potions, and he had an evacuation plan should it be necessary.
On entering the field, he raised his hand into the air and summoned his katana to his person. The crystallization of his weapon was something that he admired the game for, and he gripped it out of the air as it materialized into a physical object. Step 1, preparing for battle, was pretty much complete. He only had one more thing to do. Leaving his hand into the air, he yelled out a physical boost buff that he had chosen over healing at the beginning. "Ap Corv!"
He figured he would stock up on potions and drink them like a madman during battle rather than casting healing spells. He was a warmonger, after all. Finally, he felt adequate enough to move throughout the field. A peaceful field, in fact, but the dungeon was likely to not be such an inviting place. Nevertheless, k2 would dash through the light purple flowers in haste to the dungeon which had his name all over it. And the treasures at the end did too.

Delta Server was known as the hub for newbies, and as such boasted a number of fields that were more for show than effect. This, an endless field of flowers, was one of those places; no danger could be found until a player was courageous enough to approach the dungeon. And approach it k2 did.
Action was the meat of a dungeon raid, and there would be no spare of it here. The closer the player got to the dungeon, the more apparent it became that something was blocking the entrance. It appeared to be a flower, but aside from its color it bore no resemblance to the beautiful violets found all around. No, in fact, this one was rooted dead-center in the opening of a giant cave-like structure, its leaves moving in a non-existent breeze.

k2 was not the man who would pick a flower as an enemy, for he was no gardener, but if it was the monster that was presented to him by the game then so be it! He studied his target for a moment and brought his blade a tad closer to the floor. Striking at the heart of the monster was the weak point. k2 decided that if this plant did have a heart, it was probably that place where bees loved to land. That center thing that contained all of the pollen.
k2 decided on his attack, and he slipped closer to his enemy with preparations to parry should the thing decide to attack him. Once near enough, he lunged his katana forward with an inward step and attempted to plunge his weapon into the bright patch of yellow.

The player's approach seemed to be a trigger for the flower, which straightened its stem and swiveled to ... face him? It had no visible eyes, but one could not deny the fact that it seemed to be looking at k2, but worse than that was the green aura that suddenly surrounded it. In the time it took him to cross the space between them, the flower had cast its spell; the wind roared, and leaves materialized within the tornado it created.
The whirlwind of debris tore across the ground toward the heavyblade, who had been about to strike. His closeness to his target would be a weakness in this respect, and the flower's apparent skill with the arcane would produce a damaging first hit of their squabble. Although his tactic was intelligent, k2 would have to figure out how to get close enough to enact it.

"What the f-" he said as pieces of the area were thrown at him. He felt a minor annoyance as his health dropped, and he had to step back. He was unable to get an attack off, but he looked at the monster -- and then back to the cave -- and gave a small grin.
He took off, full sprint, to the side of the monster and he would pass by it without even attempting to strike. He expected the monster to still be cooling down after its spell use, but if he was struck... then oh well. As he neared the cave-like structure, he planted his feet and began to climb up the structure. He would climb until he reached the top of the cave structure, and he would not glance down as he leaped off of it at the monster below. His katana, of course, was poised to dice right through the monster. As he fell, he screamed an attack skill to help himself target the monster below him. "Hayabusa!"

Indeed, the flower monster was not well-prepared for such an agile assault. It turned what could only be called its "head" to follow him as he sprinted past, but there was a second or two span before Flower could summon its magical abilities again. By the time the aura encompassed its form for the second time, the player was bounding off the top of the cave, screaming words that the creature could not understand.
Thankfully, it only had to deal with a moment of confusion before the katana began slicing at its stigma, tearing the cellulose and sending pollen flying everywhere. The monster could not scream, but it squirmed violently before loosing the spell it had stored: a last ditch effort. This was another tornado, but it contained no leaves and seemed to be much more powerful than the last. Hopefully—at least for Flower—the attack caught its opponent while he was still in the air, where it would be harder for him to handle the wind. Unfortunately, gravity and quick-thinking had more say than the creature did.

Just as planned. He felt his blade rip through the poor monster, but he noted that he would have minimal time to have glory in his attack. The monster was still alive, and he needed to end the poor creature's life before it had a chance to attack him once more. The spell that the monster had used was a second level spell -- a stronger version than the one he had seen before. Thankfully, he was on the ground which would give him a slight advantage to the wind that began to rip and tear.
While the winds were not category five hurricane force winds, they were easily the second or third caliber. k2 could feel his struggle to maintain a standing position, but he noted one thing about the winds that made them different from anything he had experienced in the real world. The winds were dicing him like blades, and he could feel his jeans and shirt being torn by them. Cuts would appear, but k2 would crouch low and cover his face from the spell. That was before he had another idea
At the beginning of the spell's lifespan, k2 ran toward the cave and attempted to protect his body the best way possible -- that was, his left arm held over his neck to prevent any gashes from appearing there. He had his blade ready in his dominate right hand as he ran by the monster to give it one final slash, but he didn't stop to say last words. Instead, he continued to run -- the spell about midway through now -- and he ran into the cave. His intent was to try and hide in the cave to reduce the damage the winds could do to him. There would not be as much room for the winds to whip around in the cave as there would be outside. He only hoped that his final attack would do enough damage to the monster so that it would not sit outside the cave taunting him.
He could also deal with it later if he had to.

The cutting tornado would have been disastrous if the player had simply attempted to absorb the damage. However, his quick thinking and a well-timed slash to the monster saved him from the worst of the spell's damage.
As his blade cut through Flower's stem it screeched loudly (where the sound actually came from one is free to speculate) and toppled to the ground. The leaves twitched, as if they were limbs, and then the monster was drained of all its color. Next, its rather solid-looking body broke into pixels that floated up harmlessly into the sky. The spell dissipated moments later, having only completed half of its intended attack time.
From somewhere behind k2, further in the cave, the sound of rock sliding against rock could be heard. Was it a door opening up the rest of the dungeon, or perhaps another danger? He would have to find out for himself!

The plant had died, and the battle was won. Now all he had to do was survive the dungeon, and he would have cleared the field. He wondered how many monsters were shoved into the dungeon, but he knew that the area was for newbie players so it was unlikely to kill him off instantly. He then heard the noise.
It was either a door or the cave was collapsing. Either way, he wanted to find out. With a fluid turn, k2 would scurry further into the dungeon with his weapon prepared for danger. He would not use a health potion for the time being -- he would need to assess the danger before he started diving into his items. He was prepared for the worst, though. Except status ailments. Those would be deadly.
