root town - safe zone - water element In Mac Anu the weather never takes a turn for the worse, it is always sunny and bright with clear skies. The Chaos Gate is located at the top of a stairwell on a flat platform overlooking the rest of Mac Anu. A few yards away the bridge resides. To the left and right of the bridge you can find the Storage, Item Shop, Weapon Shop, and the Magic Shop. As you cross the bridge you can look down and see that canal. On the far side of the bridge there’s a path that leads off into the alleyway behind the shops. Although you have the option of visiting the alley, it’s not a very popular place. Located in the very back of Mac Anu is a open plaza to trade in or talk with other players.

Mac Anu was always so dang busy. People just crowded the streets, trading and chatting it up care freely with other players. Of course with it being a Root Town, it was to be expected, but it didn't make Holic any less annoyed as he attempted to squeeze by people as he walked, shouting and "Excuse me!" and "I'm sorry!" every two seconds to players who kept giving him dirty looks. Sheesh, maybe if you moved your butts he wouldn't be running into you! Holic let out a bit of a huff, metal greaves clanking against the stone pavement as he attempted to find the item shop. He was in need of a few more potions since he planned on heading out alone to the fields to hopefully level up a little bit. Of course going in it alone wasn't the best idea, but right now no one apparently wanted to group up with a small little heavy axemen, so he'd do it alone dammit!
Getting a bit more annoyed he ended up seriously bumping shoulders with someone. His shoulder was okay because it was armored, but he quickly turned and said, "Gah! I'm sorry!"

Some klutz seemed to be making a mess of the streets in Mac Anu. Even if he was having difficulty in not bumping into people, there was enough room for the little Axemen to go around -- though I suppose it would take the boy out of his way in his path to the Item Shop, which he seemed directed to. LESTRANGE watched silently, lips thinned in a simple line as his eyes briefly closed, exhaling a slight sigh. His back pressed against the alley way wall between two shops, he had been observing the boy coming up with ease as he leaned against the dirty red bricks, arms folded across his chest. Finally, he moved from his shadowy location and walked over to the clumsy boy. "Are you new?" was his first question as he came in stride next to the Heavy Axeman, arms lightly falling behind his head.

After a long winded apology to the person he bumped into, Holic was stuck walking side by side with some stranger, who he hadn't notice to he spoke up. The boy jumped slightly before stopping in his tracks and looking at the other boy. His expression went from surprise to guilt as he quickly rubbed the back of his head. "It's kinda obvious huh?" He said, feeling like a real newbie right now. He had never really been into video games but his friends convinced him to play, and now without them around he was pretty much stuck by himself. "Sorry," he managed, not even sure what he was apologizing for.

He was given a thousand gold after creating his character, yet, as he stood in front of the unusable item shop, he couldn't help but chuckle. He figured that a game that had been released would not do something so dumb as to leave some of the NPC scripts in limbo, but it seemed that every game had flaws these days. k2 looked up to the bright skies of Mac Anu after failing to use the NPC.
At least the game wasn't garbage in graphic design, just coding.

Well, he had monsters to slay. His vision dropped, and he made his way across the bridge back to the Chaos Gate. Hopefully monsters were viable targets. He wouldn't want to play a game that only involved socializing with the nearest retarded player.
With that, he left to a random field.

GATING IN !!!
The resounding ping symbolizing someone's entry rang through the digital air. A second later three golden rings appeared near the Chaos Gate forming an avatar. When fully loaded the young man appeared- he had short brown hair, leather biker clothes, and a huge silver axe resting on his shoulder. Looking around in a state of mild surprise, it quickly melted into indifference as took his first steps in [the world].
Walking he found it very hard to navigate with it being so crowded bumping into a few people and hearing the mutter of "newbie" from a rather disgruntled PC his frown deepened. Not even a few minutes in and he was already being labeled... great. Finding himself pulled through the tide of the crowd he found himself in front of someone unexpectedly. Blinking he shifted his heavy axe on his shoulder before giving a curt nod. He wasn't really good at this conversation thing so he was better off with them starting first.
