The Chaos Gate brings the player directly into the center of a field of flowers, the scent of the violets overwhelming, yet at the same time soothing. The whole field comprises of grassy patches and large quantities of flowers as far as the eye can see, and in between the fields of flowers is an old beaten ground path, that can be taken until reaching the dungeon nestled into the side of a mountain. On your journey to the dungeon however, expect numerous monsters to cross your path - though they will be fairly weak due to the nature of the field. The dungeon is three floors down, and is fairly easy for newbies to triumph over; though still best to do with more than one person.

Gate-In ):
The hum of the chaos gates could be heard around the field as the player character gated into the area. Ah, the sweet aroma of flowers! The lovely feel of crisp, pure air! Jax would've appreciated both, but he would have to settle for nicely designed graphic scenery. Glancing around a bit, the male would allow his aquamarine eyes to take in as much as they could before he broke his blank stare with a blink. Why was he there again? He shrugged, chuckling a bit. He was Jax the Pirate! No reason was the best reason. To him, at least. Besides that, Sleepy Her Destiny was a field he came to in order to clear his head often. A field of flowers and weak monsters to pick on left a lot for him to vent on. Though that's precisely why he questioned his motives for coming to the area-- He hadn't much to think about at the moment.

—gating in . . . For once, the urge to leave Omega became a force strong enough to overpower her better judgement. Normally, she felt the need to constantly watch over the server; it was not normally an issue, as the darkness element was one that suited her tastes. So why now? Why this field?
The quiet chime of a bell signaled her arrival, precluded only by the swirling of golden rings. They deposited her amongst a field of purple flowers, the smell of which immediately assaulted her senses via the receptors in her headset. Adrienne wrinkled her nose in disgust, but the expression was momentary at best ... violets, sweet and soothing. A headache she hadn't realized was there seemed to ebb away, leaving her feeling light enough to let out a laugh.
"Stupid flowers~"

It wasn't long before Jax felt the presence of another. Perhaps it was a sixth sense. Or, just maybe, it was the sound of the chaos gate that tipped him off. Either way, he would find his body adjusting to face the origin of the slight disturbance. How dare someone enter his sacred spot! Though her reaction to the area couldn't help but force him to stifle a chuckle. He raised a hand-- A gesture anyone that knew him would find as a precursor to his voice.
"Faha! A lass that dislikes flowers? Delightfully interesting...," he began while trailing off into another chuckle. He found it odd how light his mood was, though a smile was second nature to the twin blade. Folding his arms, he looked the girl up and down to process her character design. Considering the gothic lolita look, he found the field's contrast to the newcomer slightly humorous.
"I see, I see! So, did ya throw together a random combination of words to get here or are ya just one of them masochists?"

The sound of a male's voice caught her attention, but Adrienne did not immediately turn to investigate the source. Instead, she focused on an insect that was buzzing about a flower near her foot, no doubt attempting to get at the pollen. Virtual pollen, anyway. Virtual bug. With how far technology had come in recent years, it was getting easier to become lost in [The World] in a way that made reality seem like a step down.
"Just random keywords. Perhaps I should have chosen more carefully," she hummed, talking more to herself despite the subject content clearly answering his inquiry. There was something of an accent to his voice that she finally latched onto; curiosity was peaked enough for her to lift her chin, turning the dual-colored gaze in his direction. Ah, she thought, blinking. That character model looks strangely familiar. I wonder if I've seen him before?
It hardly mattered. Turning more fully toward the male, nude lips tugged into a charming smile and equally pale hand was extended in his direction. With all the purple around, she felt colorless ... and the worst part that it wasn't even her favorite shade: lavender! "You can call me Adrienne. It's nice to meet you."

The female managed to peek his interest with her apparent disregard for his presence. What could possibly be more interesting than he? Considering her focus, he had figured she was just lost in the flowers or, perhaps, something that was creeping through them. As he was about to sigh before announcing intentions of leaving the girl to her devices, Jax found his question responded to and therefore his presence acknowledged-- Albeit in a distant way. He almost laughed at the irony but held it for when something more amusing came into the scene.
"Really now?" he remarked in reply, his gaze diverted from the female towards the tattered path that he knew trailed on towards a dungeon. It wasn't his first time playing [The World], but he figured he should start over with a new character to savor any updates since he last played. His glance then returned to Adrienne as his hands rested on his hips. Taking notice to her hand, he chuckled to himself. Normally, he would use her hand as a means of pulling her into a bearhug. However, he felt he shouldn't scare the girl off just yet.
"Interestin' name, lass! Name's Jax," he began with a smile before setting his hand out to meet hers. Once the traditional handshake occurred, he would return his arms to a folded position while smirking slightly at the girl. Turning his gaze back to the dirt road he would begin to ponder.
"If this scenery's not to yer likin', there's a nice and dreary dungeon up ahead! Got time to wander around aimlessly with a total stranger?"

A bear hug would have been a very bad idea indeed. Adrienne preferred to have as little physical contact as possible, and even an offered handshake was usual. Needless to say, Jax would have found her polearm sticking out the other side of his chest before he was able to seal the deal on that pseudo-friendly action ... it was good that he refrained, instead taking her hand. She withdrew it soon afterward.
"It's really nice to meet you. But I think your name is far more interesting than man," she quipped, the ghost of a smirk flickering across her face. It was gone quickly, replaced by a stoic blankness that one could get used to seeing from this avatar. To her, emotions were simply a manipulation tool, and allowing genuine feelings to show was an obvious weakness. Nevertheless, what was done was done; she didn't feel the need to kill him for seeing a smile.
The prospect of wandering through a dungeon was an interesting idea. "Ah, but my pretty clothes would get torn if we ended up fighting," she whispered, batting her eyelashes teasingly at him. There was a false accent inserted here, something of a southern bell—making fun of the girls that would no doubt be attracted to this sort of field. The girly-girls. "Just kidding! ♥ Let's go. Perhaps during our stroll I will finally get a chance to test out my battling prowess."
She started to walk past him, practically skipping in the direction of the dungeon.

"Ah?" he sounded in response, mildly flattered by the compliment. Jax somehow doubted the girl was serious, seeing as he had just thrown out a random one-syllable name at creation so that he could just jump into the action already. Then again, perhaps the simplicity was what made it interesting. Shrugging off the needless thought he attached to the compliment, he decided to just take it with a smile.
"Oh my, that would certainly be a disastuh, ma'am!" he quipped in his own forced southern-accent. Though he'd leave the integrity of the quick performance up to the girl's judgment, as he was truly more of a city boy in real life than anyone else he knew. A city boy bearing a fascination for the pirates of Europe. Her acceptance of his offer would break his mind away from such thoughts, happy that he would finally get to seek out some loot. From his hip dangled two rapier-like swords, and Jax decided to rest his hand on the two hilts just in case he needed to draw quickly and jump into action.
"I see, so ya haven't been playin' long? Or are ya an oldbie who fell off fer awhile an' decided to jump back into it with a fresh character?"

"Mmn? I suppose oldbie would be a good term for it," she replied to his inquiry, fending off a laugh that bubbled up in her chest. Oh, if that wasn't the understatement of the century! Adrienne's experience in [The World] had been so expansive, from an induced coma and becoming a virus in the game to her newest position with CC Corp. It spanned from childhood to young adulthood, and she personally could not picture working anywhere else ... or playing any other MMORPG. Despite the changing times and advancing technology, none yet matched the realism of her favorite.
"Actually, I'm the moderator of the Omega Server."
This information was purposely slipped in, and she paused in her happy walking to look back at him. No doubt it would cause some amount of shock, awe, embarrassment. Honestly, it mattered very little to her how he absorbed it so long as their was a physical reaction. Like a leech, she fed off of these things; perhaps that was why she risked such a posh job to sometimes PK the newbies. If she could antagonize them enough they usually attacked her first, and she could not be blamed for protecting herself, right? Exactly~!
"Have you by chance visited Omega yet? Oh, I should guess not on this character ... unless you're an oldbie as well? It's hard to tell sometimes, but you seem to have a masterful handle on the avatar controls. Most of the time I see level ones wobbling around and practically peeing themselves when they figure out how to draw their weapons. Hehe."

"Oh?" replied Jax in simple curiosity. It wasn't hard for him to distinguish when someone had something interesting to say. But what could possibly be mind-blowing about her gaming history? Perhaps she was around for the beta! Or maybe she was a developer. Once her answer confirmed she was neither, but in fact something just as recognizable, he chuckled a bit. Not in surprise or embarrassment, but as if to recognize some irony to the fated meeting.
"An official CC Corp crew mate, eh? Of the millions of players I could meet in this field, what're tha odds of stumblin' across one of ya?" he questioned rhetorically, chuckling a bit more before letting his gaze drift off from his current companion to the area around him. Oh how he loved admiring the realism of [The World]'s graphics, though his real goal was to mark and understand his surroundings. A lot of MMOs were about looking for the hidden, after all. Hidden threats as well as hidden rewards!
Of course, he would have to break away from his analysis once he found himself addressed by Adrienne once more. His eyes narrowed a bit, the male recalling what truly caused him to quit the world again. Smirking slightly, his player character would break from it's seeming daze as he decided to answer without being too revealing.
"The controls were still a tad bit awkward fer me, since I hadn't played in so long. Dropped my main and decided t'start over, though. Feels a bit more... Refreshin' this way, haha. Haven't been able to visit omega since I started playin' again. Or any servers outside of delta, fer that matter! They still got that loopy upside-down world field? Used to be my favorite spot to talk to an ol' mate."
