Message: So! The Mayan Calendar has ended- do you think the world will end this year? My aunt is having a fit saying the world will end in December. It's both amusing and annoying.

MESSAGE — it is not really the end of the world. the mayans never predicted this - merely an end of their calender/cycle. this is merely a barbaric way to instill fear in us all, only to get the money some of us might spend since we believe in this bogus. people will commit suicide over this. that isn't good.

Fahahaha, that is amusing! I think the societies and whatnot should deteriorate a bit more before we assume the worst. Moar corruption, moar catastrophe! Then, and only then, might I consider the end near.

I think this whole thing is pretty dumb. I mean, people didn't go "poof" last year when that one nutjob predicted the rapture, right? So why should we take any end-of-the-world stuff seriously? I'd rather spend my time planning for the zombie apocalypse anyway. XD
....they should totally do an event about that.
